Travels Around Oregon Pt 3- Oregon Bucket List

Travels Around Oregon Pt 3- Oregon Bucket List

How was your month of August? Did you get to see this eclipse? In Eugene we could see it at 96% totality!

We have been so crazy busy with vacations this summer, especially in July, so for the month of August, we elected to take it easy and stay home.

Staying home made me think of all the places in Oregon I have yet to see. My husband and I tend to not stay in one place for very long, I think while living in Denver for five years we lived in four different cities! This made me come up with my Oregon Bucket List! A list filled with all the sites I want to see, things I want to do, and places I want to visit.

Have you been to Oregon before and done something on my bucket list?  I would love to know what you thought! Let me know in the comments below!

-Enjoy!♥

  1. Oregon is my favorite state in the country. My favorite things to do when we are here are to go to Powell’s City of Books in Portland, eat fresh cheese at the Tillamook factory, camp in Cannon Beach by the Haystack Rock, and hike through the Oneidea Gorge!

  2. I had heard Oregon was beautiful, but I recently got a chance to see it for myself a few months ago. But it was just driving through, I can imagine the parks, like Crater Lake are stunning and hope to see it for myself one day.

  3. All I’ve seen of Oregon is the Portland airport. 🙁 Thanks for the virtual tour – Crater Lake and Monmouth Falls look gorgeous!

  4. It is amazing what is in your own “backyard” when you start to think about. The children’s museum sounds interesting.

  5. I’m giddy over this list because I live just a bit north of you in Oregon! This is a great list of ideas for a fun day 🙂 I too have been curating my own Oregon TO-DO List.

  6. Wowwww! How beautiful! I’ve heard a lot of great things about Oregon, but I’ve never been. Can’t wait to visit and try out your suggestions, thanks!!

  7. I have never been to Oregon but it def sounds like an awesome place to visit. I will have to add it to my list! I think I would really enjoying claming as I LOVE to eat steamed clams!

  8. Traveling to and exploring Oregon is 100% on my bucket list! I have always (I mean always) wanted to go there. Your post has confirmed that even more! Beautiful Pictures

  9. I grew up in Oregon. One of my favorite places is this tiny zo/santuary next to the wildlife safari. Last time o got to hold a baby monkey and snow leopard. Enchanted forest theme park is weird as heck but fun too.

  10. Oregon and Washington St are on the top of our bucket list. I cannot wait to see the beautiful landscapes there. Thanks for the ideas of what sites to see when in Oregon!

  11. This list is great! I am always on the lookout for things to do in each state. We are hitting the road full-time in November and hoping to spend at least a month in Oregon. I am itching to see Monmouth Falls. It looks like Narnia!

    1. Oregon is beautiful! I’m so jealous you will be on the road full time. Check out my other two posts on travels around Oregon for more ideas!

  12. This is such a great idea! We move around every couple years with the military and I definitely need to make a bucket list because when we were in TN we didn’t take advantage of the opportunities there.

    1. Thats what started my bucket list! We lived in Denver for five years and didn’t take advantage of what was there or what was near us. I don’t want to make that mistake twice! You are so lucky to move every couple of years and really get to explore! Take advantage of it while you can!

    1. Doesn’t it look gorgeous!? Unfortunately it caught on fire a few weeks ago, some kids with fireworks. Very sad. But I have seen pictures since and it still is beautiful.
