We all need something to look forward to in life, no more so than at the end of a challenging day. For many people that will be the promise of a holiday or trip in the near future. There is no denying that the excitement of booking your next bit of travel is close to being one of the greatest feelings. The anticipation of what you’ll see, the expectation for the fun, and the guarantee of taking a break from life at home.

So with that in mind, we are going to take a look at one of the continents you might want to consider booking.

Europe

There is a big world waiting for you to explore out there, and Europe is one of those places that we all want to visit at least once. With over 50 countries to choose from, the options can be too much. But one of the best kept secrets of European travel is that you can get around between a number of the countries with relative ease. Their transport links such as connecting roads and train travel is second to none in a lot of places, and the cost of air travel is more than reasonable because of the short journeys. So let’s take a look at some of the countries and places on offer.

France

The first destination that a lot of people think of when the word Europe comes up is France. The famous streets of Paris and the lifestyle of Monte Carlo. There is so much to see and do in this wonderful country that you might just be happy spending your entire holiday just here. But for those of you looking to get a flavor of what the French have to offer, then Paris should be your planned trip.

Without doubt you will want to pay a visit to the Eiffel Tower, the crown jewel of this romantic city. However, don’t just center your visit around this iconic structure. One of the great things about Paris is that it has so much to offer from the Arc de Triomphe just off of the Champs Elysee to the Louvre art gallery. Once you have booked you can get yourself in the mood for your trip with some French cuisine and build the excitement by trying some of the Wine on Sale’s red wine from France.

Spain

Much like France, Spain has a lot to offer and has spread a lot of its joys out across a broad landscape. Fortunately, this country has a fantastic high-speed rail network so if you choose to, you can get around with speed and comfort to see as much as you can in your time in Europe.

Some of the tourist hot spots include a visit to Barcelona. The capital of Catalonia is a city and a beach holiday rolled into one. While there you will be able to sample paella on La Ramblas and experience the beauty of one of Spain’s great artists at the Gaudi Park. Some might say that a stop in Spain isn’t complete without visiting the country’s capital, Madrid. Here you will be afforded the chance to soak up some of Spain’s history through the city’s iconic bullring, Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas.

  1. You only appreciate how easy it is to travel through Europe when you try traveling in Africa or Asia through several countries. The immigration offices can be a nightmare.

  2. Having lived six years in Europe, I can say there are SO many more locales to visit. Paris was the least interesting in my opinion (and I’m a chef). Germany has tons of history (good and bad), castles and monuments. The Czech Republic, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and many, many others are filled with so many sights and activities to explore.
