Creamy and Sweet Irish Coffee

Creamy and Sweet Irish Coffee

St. Patty’s day has passed but that doesn’t mean that Irish Coffee isn’t still a good idea! This treat is usually sweet and flavorful with a smooth cream on top. This recipe makes a creamy coffee without using any artificial creamers or sweeteners, just the original, classic ingredients!

This is typically served after a meal as a dessert cocktail. If you are looking for a great meal to cook for a party or just yourself and your family this spring check out our Tangy Dijon Sauce for your corned beef! Pair these together for the perfect Irish meal!

Ingredients

2 Tbs dark roast coffee/espresso

2 tsp brown sugar

1 oz. Whiskey

3 oz. heavy whipping cream

1 tsp white sugar (optional)

First brew one cup of dark roast coffee or espresso

  1. Stir brown sugar and whiskey into coffee
  2. Whip heavy whipping cream (with or without sugar depending on how sweet you want your coffee!) whip until it barely begins to thicken but still has some liquid cream and the whipped foam
  3. Pour cream over a spoon and into the coffee to separate the cream and make sure the foam floats on top! Drink and enjoy!

Always adventure!
